Continuing the maturation we had and also the challenges faced in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we started in 2021, the Semeando Futuros project.
The project, which will be carried out in 2021 and 2022, will provide socio-environmental training and train educators from up to 50 public schools in Goiás, with a focus on elementary education. The objective is to enhance the actions of educating people through learning experiences that connect sustainability to practice, promote the multiplication of knowledge, support the implementation or revitalization of school gardens and strengthen the food and nutritional security of children and adolescents.
PROJECT GEOGRAPHIC AREA: Goiânia and Aparecida de Goiânia
DURATION: 20 months, between May 2021 and December 2022.
PLANNED ACTIVITIES:
Video lessons and virtual mentoring
Face-to-face training meetings
Practical workshops in schools
Distribution of Kits:
- a) educational materials,
- b) tools and
- c) training.
The project will have a total duration of 20 months (May / 2021 to December / 2022) and is structured in 3 stages:
1.Planning (May to July 2021): includes the launching of the project and the selection of up to 36 public institutions in the state education network in the city of Goiânia;
2.Implementation (August 2021 to November 2022): includes direct actions with beneficiary institutions.
In this stage, the activities will be organized in three phases:
– GERMINAR with online continuing education for up to 36 state educational institutions in the city of Goiânia (August to December 2021);
– PLANT with continuing on-site training for up to 16 educational institutions (January to June 2022);
– MULTIPLICATE with workshops in schools for up to 8 educational institutions (July to November 2022).
1.Closing (December 2022): with presentation of the final results of the project, sharing of experiences and full accountability.
